Recently I was writing a scientific paper and needed math equation editor.
In Microsoft Word it could be included form Insert -> Equation, but the icon was blanked (or grey).
I’d tried to add the component, but was already there. In my case, the icon was not clickable, because the document was opened in compatibility mode, so just have to save it as a new *.docx file.
